What are good websites to learn Organic Chemistry?
I'm looking for a website that goes in-depth into hardcore Organic Chemistry, but one that can also explain the material in a clear way that's easy to understand and take in. I've looked around, but am open to new suggestions. Anything is helpful! Thanks! I wasn't trying to diss book learning or anything (I have a huge required textbook): I was just trying to find some other way to learn the material. The reason I ask for websites is that they tend to have animations that might be helpful.

- I may be old fashioned, but hard copy books are much easier for me.
- There are many. http://www.cem.msu.edu/~reusch/VirtualText/intro1.htm http://www.chemhelper.com/ I often answer questions on the organic chemistry forum there. I also post answers to questions on my forum at http://www.curvedarrow.com However, your question may be an oxymoron. To me, effective learning and pencil go together. If you wanted to learn a foreign language, a good set of tapes would not persuade me you had a good program. If you had to speak, I would expect the mental contribution would be so much higher that your learning would be greatly increased. If you were to consider that route, consider the book described at http://www.curvedarrowpress.com Here is a comment I just received, "I am amazed at how much i can do already with the help of your book." orgopete
